Twenty thousand steps a day is normal in Tokyo.

Shrines in the morning, station stairs all afternoon, department stores until close. By the evening your feet have done more than they do in a week at home.

We are a small relaxation salon above Dogenzaka — five seats behind curtains, open from ten in the morning until five the next morning. Come as you are, on the way back to your hotel.

Before you come

What actually happens.

We hand you something to change into

For dry courses you change into the wear we provide. For oil courses disposable paper underwear is provided and you stay covered with a towel.

A curtained seat, not a private room

Each of the five seats is closed off by a full curtain. Please expect to hear the room around you.

Tattoos are welcome

No cover-up needed, no questions asked, any size.

Arrive a few minutes early

The listed time is time spent on you. Allow about ten extra minutes for changing and paying.

Getting here

The last part is a staircase.

Read this before you set off. The lift in our building stops at the 9th floor. From there you take the stairs one flight up to the 10th. It is the part people miss.

  1. Find the black diamond

    Walk up Dogenzaka. Our building is the tall glass one with a black diamond mark above the entrance — karaoke on its left, a Nagasaki champon restaurant on its right.

  2. Go in and take the lift

    The entrance is set back from the street, under the diamond. Go up the steps and find the lift inside.

  3. Press 9 — the lift stops there

    There is no button for 10. Look for the green sticker next to the 9 button; that is us.

  4. One flight of stairs to 10F

    Step out at 9, turn to the staircase and go up one floor. Our door is at the top. 2-16-7 Dogenzaka, Shibuya-ku — 10F.

After 23:00 the way in changes

The ground-floor lift area closes at 23:00. Take the outdoor staircase on the left of the building up to the 2nd floor and use the lift from there. The rest is the same — get off at 9 and take the stairs to 10.

Do I need to book?

No. We have five seats and you can almost always walk in. If you want a specific time, or the 180-minute course, send us a message first.

Are tattoos allowed?

Yes, without exception. You do not need to cover them.

Does anyone speak English?

Our staff speak enough English to take your order and check what you want. For anything longer, message us on WhatsApp and we can reply in writing.

Is it a private room?

No. Each seat is separated by a full curtain in a shared space.

Can two of us come together?

Yes. The foot reflexology chairs are side by side, and the beds can be arranged next to each other. Tell us when you arrive.

Is there an age limit?

Guests under 16 need to be accompanied by an adult.

How late can I come?

We close at 5:00 AM. You can start as long as your course finishes by closing — for a 60-minute course the last start is 4:00 AM.
